We bring the culture of Capoeira to adults and children in the Boston and Cambridge Area.
In addition to introducing students to Afro-Brazilian culture, Capoeira provides an opportunity for individual expression, personal and communal development, and physical well-being. The Capoeira and Arts Association of New England serves to fund and organize Capoeira events in the Boston area that help to foster mentorship, education, and community outreach.
The Capoeira and Arts Association of New England was a proud recipient of a 2017-2018 Cambridge Arts Council Grant for Dance
This funding allowed us to hold one of our biggest events ever this past December!
